Uses recognized acupuncture points selected based on anatomy, neurophysiology, and the problem being treated. Needles typically remain for 20–30 minutes and may include electrical stimulation with electroacupuncture.

DRY NEEDLING
Targets trigger points in tight bands of muscle. The needle is moved briefly to elicit a local twitch response, then removed within seconds.

GUNN IMS
Targets affected muscles and their related spinal areas to address the nerve and muscle together when nerve irritation contributes to persistent pain and muscle tightness. Needles are inserted briefly and removed.
