Dr. Lise Rok

Academic Training
Dr. Lise holds a Master of Applied Science in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Toronto, where her research focused on low back pain. She has published research in the field.
She earned her Doctor of Chiropractic from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College and is a Registered Massage Therapist. Her Contemporary Medical Acupuncture training was completed through McMaster University. She is also trained as a personal trainer and triathlon coach.
Additional training: Active Release Techniques, Functional Movement Assessment, SFMA, Fascial Distortion Model, Graston, Mulligan Mobilization, dry needling, visceral manipulation, and cupping.
Clinical Experience
Dr. Lise Rok is the founder of Health Rok and has over 10 years of clinical experience. Her background in rehabilitation, biomedical research, manual therapy, exercise, and sport shapes her work across injury recovery, strength development, return to sport, and preparation for demanding physical goals.
Dr. Lise works with recreational and competitive athletes across a variety of sports including triathlon, marathon, rowing, hockey, and gymnastics. Her work also includes clients pursuing demanding physical goals, from completing the Pacific Crest Trail and summiting mountains to returning to CrossFit competition after surgery or qualifying special forces testing. Dr. Lise provides onsite care at triathlon training camps across Canada and the United States and was apart of the medical team at the 2015 Pan American and Parapan American Games.
Built for Adventure
Movement and adventure are still a big part of Dr. Lise’s life. She continues to train across triathlon, trail running, cycling, cross-country skiing, kayaking, and other endurance pursuits.
Her many adventures include summiting Mount Rainier, a 750 km Yukon River race, kayaking alongside icebergs in Greenland, and multi day cycling trips through British Columbia, the Yukon, Arizona, and Utah.
Staying strong and capable means being ready for what comes next, whether that is a race, a long ride, or an adventure alongside her children.
